Very informative. While Sam seemed to wheez a little when he spoke , he drew a very clear parallel to what is happening in the US and explained it in a much clearer way than what I have heard before.

The interview made me awfully wonder if such mass disappearings of progressives could happen in the U.S? A right-wing government could use a real or phoney terrorist attack blamed on liberals to justify it just like in Argentina.

I’m afraid it could happen here if the Bushies aren’t held accountable for the torture and disappearing of Muslims and Arabs.
