Rocky Anderson, former Salt Lake City mayor and 2012 Justice Party presidential candidate, has sharp criticism of Obama’s expansion of presidential power related to surveillance, targeted killings and other issues in this Boiling Frogs interview, co-hosted with Sibel Edmonds.  Anderson, who also founded the nonprofit High Road for Human Rights, returns to comment on the start of the second Obama term, and the major rollbacks of our constitutional rights.  He expresses admiration for whistleblowers, from Sibel Edmonds to Bradley Manning, and deplores Obama’s prosecution of people who report wrongdoing.  He is quite concerned about the broad detention powers in the 2012 NDAA.  He talks about his campaign for president, and how the media and the corporate debate commission excluded him and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

Over the past few months, a number of listeners have asked for an update from Anderson, and we are glad to respond to your requests.
