Brangan and Heddle are co-directors of Ecological Options Network, based in Bolinas, CA.

This podcast is the audio from a local TV interview.  You can watch the video here.

Lutz updates us on the renegotiation of the decommissioning costs of San Onofre and the furtive tactics of the Public Utilities Commission and its former president, Michael Peevey.  And he talks about the ugly options for storage of spent fuel and nuclear waste.  Like Fukushima, San Onofre is right on the Pacific coast.

Brangan and Heddle share footage from a recent visit to New Mexico, where there is strong opposition to a plan for “interim” nuclear was storage.  And we discuss the weak infrastructure for transport of dangerous nuclear materials.
