A wide-ranging panel of nine people who have been demanding the truth about 9/11 for the past 15 years share their thoughts about the progress to date, and the major challenges that remain. After 15 years of coverup, it’s obvious to many that the official narrative of 9/11–as reported by the Kean-Hamilton 9/11 Commission–is not accurate. Researchers like those you will hear today have discovered major contradictions between the official account and the laws of physics, among others. These are independent thinkers who have the courage to defy the group-think that is promoted by the media and political leaders, and challenge the consensus view wherever it departs from scientific proof or rational thinking.

PBC opening comments:
15 years after 9/11, we examine the efforts to ferret out the truth, the real conspiracy about the dark dimensions of the plots that were organized and used to shock Americans into a series of wars of choice, and major changes in our priorities and our way of life.
I’ve been covering this since 2003, when a friend who’s a pilot raised important contradictions between physical evidence and the official story. I’ve spent hundreds of hours researching, interviewing, and talking to experts. While I don’t claim to have neat answers to all the questions that remain, it’s very clear to me that the official narrative, rubber stamped by the compromised 9/11 commission, does not stand up to careful scrutiny.
I’m quite aware of the massive denial by many Americans, especially our elected leaders. And I know that some people think I’m crazy, a tin hat-wearing conspiracy theorist who just can’t accept the truth from our government.
But I’ve been an active observer of the American scene since Nixon was president. I saw Watergate, Cointelpro—including the assassination of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton–, Iran Contra and other state crimes against Democracy covered up, and subsequently exposed.
I know too much about 9/11 to embrace the official narrative. But I don’t feel we have enough evidence to conclude that the plots were led by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Israel, or even our own government. We need facts that are still withheld by the US government, and a truly independent investigation with legal immunity for witnesses.
Many people who I respect support the official story, and argue that by now, whistleblowers should have surfaced if there was indeed a coverup. But look how long it’s taken to get some clarity on the Kennedy assassination, and we still don’t have a definitive narrative 53 years later.
In the next 90 minutes, you will hear a range of voices….they don’t all agree, and that reflects a movement that’s not really organized or controlled. I didn’t try to frame or control their comments, and there are a few that I don’t agree with. 15 years after 9/11, we are still struggling to throw off the coverup, and as Donald Rumsfeld might say, discover more of the unknown unknowns.
