As Obama unveils gun regulation proposals, Karzai reveals drone gift and Sen. Wyden challenges John Brennan on drone kill policies…..Back in Kabul, Hamid Karzai discloses the price of America’s early exit: we are giving Afghanistan unarmed surveillance drones. It’s crazy in many ways. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) sends letter to John Brennan asking many important questions about the targeted killing program. US drones are flying over Mali in support of French military action.
–US citizens among hostages taken in Algeria, reportedly in retaliation for French incursion in Mali. This could be false flag basis for US intervention, as Leon Panetta tags it “terrorist act” and pledges to take all steps to deal with the situation
